seals for leaking ABS brake modulator shuttle valves (bottom of modulator, Land Rover).
Discovery II shuttle valve seals for the ABS modulator last about 60k miles. If changed at that interval the switches will not usually be damaged and so the fault codes -- the "tres amigos" -- will not be set by the ABS computer. (Tres Amigos means the Hill-Decent, ABS, and Traction Control warning lights all come on together, disabling those systems).
This kit comprises new seals, and the new type retainers, and is useful for preventative maintenance. New switches are not included here: If the DTC (fault code) for shuttle valves has already been triggered, the complete
FW66 kit with switches will be needed. Instructions included.
