Replaces the original gas spring for the rear step on Disco 1. Tail step "return shock", you might say. The original is not available separately from a whole step assy. Our kit provides a standard gas spring and all the bits to fit it. No more falling down rear step on Discovery. Standard gas spring replacements will now fit, for future repairs.
Fits all Land Rover Discovery 1 (93-98) with Factory optional retracting tail door step.
