Range Rover air suspension valve block (valve body) leaks wear out compressors, but can be repaired by replacing the seals inside, and resurfacing a few parts. Also included is the
FW60 air tubing kit, necessary for removing and refitting the valve block to the truck.
This kit does not included and solenoid plungers. The rubber tips on these are not replaceable, and if damaged the entire piston must be replaced. We do not have a source for these at the present time. Also included are round-section substitutes for the seven square section seals for the solenoid cores, and a suitable composite replacement for the original molded solenoid exhaust diaphragm.
Do always check for warped plastic parts, since new seals won't fix that. Simply remove the old seal and lap the plastic flat on sandpaper (on a glass sheet) to resurface, until the rubber just barely protrudes when fitted.
This is not a magic bullet kit. Valve block repair requires considerable awareness, skill and patience, and this kit simply provides that sort of person the 'tools' he or she will likely need for the undertaking. Be sure to take notes about which seals and which solenoids go where. Mechanics who are simple "parts changers" will not likely have success, and will not be happy with this product.
Kit includes 70 seals, and fits all Range Rovers with air suspension (EAS) 1995 through 2002. (May fit Classics too, but as yet not tested)
